This website allows you to link direct to the full range of my work at www.markbuttonphotography.com which demonstrates the breadth and depth of my work in capturing the essence of every unique occasion. Great photographic moments rarely happen by themselves, they are crafted by the photographer; so rather than just being at your wedding merely to record events, I will use my experience and passion for capturing memories and emotions to present you with an evocative portfolio of images. By pre-empting and understanding each stage of events, I can be in exactly the right place at exactly the right time to capture powerful images full of heart-felt memories. I aim to take all the pressure off you and give you the reassurance that I have thought of everything on your behalf. I will ensure that events are managed calmly and run smoothly, such as reminding the ushers, the best man, the groom and, of course, the bride of what to do and when.  Attention to detail is as important to me as it is to you on this special day, so, for example, I will be making sure all button hole flowers and cravats are “just right” on the men in the wedding party; I carry hair pins in my pocket just in case a strand of the bride’s hair comes loose on a windy day – i.e. small things that might make a big difference. A stress free bride is the central focus of my work as your photographer and powerful, happy memories are the aim of the day. By managing situations I will create moments where emotions are fixed in your memory to be evoked when you look at your portfolio of photographs documenting the best day of your life.  For example, possibly some of the strongest memories you, the bride, will treasure will be that moment when your proud father sees you for the first time in your wedding dress – you, his most beautiful daughter and, of course, the most beautiful bride in the world. Or perhaps the image that sets itself apart as the strongest and most romantic memory of the day will be as you enter the church on your father’s arm and walk down the aisle to meet the gaze of your groom. My camera will be there at exactly the right moment to home-in on father’s heart-stopping pride and your excited anticipation of your special day. Result? Amazing images evoking “the” moment for ever, capturing a world of happy, romantic, emotional and powerful memories for you, your family and guests to re-live through the pages of your portfolio. I will be making sure that events run smoothly and that people are in the right place at the right time, thus ensuring that every minute of your wedding day is special and enjoyed to the full. You can relax and live in the moment, etching memories and emotions deeply in your mind for the rest of your life. I am constantly aware that my photographs are only as good as your memories, so the two are intrinsically linked. I hope you will daydream through your portfolio many times in the future, losing yourself as you remember and re-live the best day of your life.
	Whilst my easy-going approach has gained me a reputation for delivering distinctive and highly imaginative portfolios of wedding photographs, I approach each and every wedding celebration with an open mind. The result records the treasured memories of the day and evokes the magic of spontaneity. GALLERY SLIDESHOW I take great pride in all my wedding photographs and by looking through the Gallery slide show you can view a selection of my work that defines the spirit of a wedding day – a telling glance between sisters, an emotional tear shed by the mother of the bride, a father’s pride and joy, the elation of good friends or a quiet moment between newlyweds. All these may be just beyond the circle of celebration, yet by capturing them I aim to freeze those fleeting moments to create a unique and personal portfolio.
